It opens Thursday, 6th of December in Milan, “ Triennale Design Museum” which presents itself as a reference point for the production of excellence in Italy. It proposes a different museum: dynamic rather than static, in which the stories continuously speaks with the present. This museum will be changing dynamically the design of itself, and it will continually innovate and offer visitors always different. It will be a creative space, consistent with its subject. Moreover, this will not be museum collection, but the narratives. The basic idea is to identify a great theme every year, which offers the possibility to enthusiasts who can come more than once a year knowing that they will find new things and new about design.
For inauguration, the issue is clearly “What is the Italian design?”
This project which began in 2004, wants to interpret the creativity of design, an expression of “Made in Italy.”
