Triennale Design Museum, directed by Silvana Annicchiarico with the expert consulting of Andrea Branzi, presents a new interpretation of Italian design: Serie e Fuori Serie.
This second interpretation illustrates the contemporary landscape of Italian design, ranging from experimental research to mass markets, crafts to advanced technologies, small businesses to globalized corporations.
The museum ‘stages’ Italian design by updating not only its thematic approach but also its exhibit design, done by Antonio Citterio and Partners, covering the 2000 sq meters of the museum, with the sole exception of the Teatro Agorà designed by Italo Rota in 2007.
