Pandora Design celebrates its first 10 years of activity with Temporary Design Store, an exclusive spot in the city centre of Milan, to revive the history of companies and designers. Years pass for all, but in this case as a positive value as for Galbiati that for over 40 years works with passion glass and crystal, for Lorenz, which celebrates the well known clock Static, whose production hasn’t stopped for 50 years, for Il Coccio, an Italian brand born in the 80s now back on the market to show its energy and finally TobeUs, for only 2 years but with a powerful thought that scents as traditional wood does.
Over 200 years represented with a modern project of exhibit and retail sales dedicated to all those who not only want to watch, but also bring along a piece of design history.
“Temporary Design Store” then presents an excellent selection of over 40 items for sale including new bestsellers and big Golden Compass winners. Five big companies that are Made in Italy, showcase an exclusive selection of items and accessories from top-quality, aesthetic and functional value.

Il Coccio Design Edition
Il Coccio Design Edition is a collection of ceramics designed as real function of furnishing humidifiers. The 9 projects come back today to identify the quality of a simple and useful product, updated to the contemporary style of living and with a renewed awareness to health and environment. Coordinated by Giulio Iacchetti, the Design Edition reissues the famous “Whistle” humidifier designed by Achille Castiglioni in 1998 and has eight brand new objects by Fernando Brizio, Marco Ferreri, Monica Förster, Alfredo Häberli, Iacchetti Giulio, Alberto Meda, Denis Santachiara, Patricia Urquiola.
Lorenz
Lorenz is present at the TDS with 2 Golden Compass award winners and takes the opportunity to celebrate the 50th birthday of the Static table watch, the first project designed by Richard Sapper and still today extremely modern for its simplicity and the severity that identifies it.
For this important anniversary, STATIC is reissued in three exclusive colors: black, white, red. The second Golden Compass award winner is NEOS the wrist-watch designed by Culdesac, awarded in 2008, where the elements of Lorenz’s tradition come up to life combined with productive solutions and coupling with innovative materials.
Pandora Design
Pandora Design presents a selection of products including the Moscardino designed by Giulio Iacchetti and MatteoRagni, Golden Compass award winner in 2001. In the Temporary Design Shop, you can enjoy the brand new plastic cutlery set DeVine, designed by Pandora Design, a new tactile experience with its use of rich Dionysian decor, symbol of a new modern luxury silverware, where the noble material is replaced by modern plastics; pieces born unique and become multiple. Devine is the affirmation of the concept of industrial production Made in Italy. Extreme aesthetic rigor instead for the Standing Ovation cutlery set by Giulio Iacchetti, presented by Pandora Design in 2008 and now on sale at TDS.
