This competition is allowed to young Italians and foreigners. Istituto Europeo di Design rewards the creative talents of young people aged between 18 and 25 years admitted with a three-year courses completely free in its schools of Design, Fashion, Visual Arts and Communication.

There are four design ideas to be developed, one for each school. ” My country” is the theme of this competition. Ideas and objects to represents or characterize the participants country and their country life

The projects and images selected will be published on the site www.creativediary.net and that can be rated and commented by visitors. Candidates will be able to check the rating of the public and read the opinions about their creativity.

The deadline for submitting projects is April 1, 2009.

In occasion of one of the main event “MilanoVendeModa” during the Fashion Week, in the area called Container, yesterday was presented the works of young student designers of the Lomardy School.

A new exhibition space to host projects by students from fashion design schools in Lombardy. “Container – carichi di Creatività” is an initiative promoted by Fiera Milano EXPOCTS in cooperation with Piattaforma Sistema Formativo Moda (fashion training system platform), an association gathering high education institutions and schools in Milan and its province, and promoting the fashion culture.
In this area, the emerging talents of women prêt-à-porter have the opportunity to show their creations to companies working in this business.

These two days  White Club is coordinating seven young designers’ fashion shows: Jean Pierre Braganza, Klavers Van Engelen, Kristian Aadnevik, Sandrina Fasoli, Steinunn, Mikio Sakabe, Laitinen. Special guest will be a new line “ Collection n. 3 “ by Christian  Weber.

To back the White Club, White Club Showroom has been conceived to offer a special space  to young designers being presented in Milan thanks to the support of the association. This area has been developed like a veritable showroom, with a sole sales manager to support emerging talents also from a selling point of
view.

These eight project ( six individual and two pairs) have been chosen to represent the best of IED Moda, by a jury presided by Franca Sozzani, Director of Vogue Italia and the Scientific Director of IED Moda Lab.

The selected young stylist will see their collection produced by leading firms in the sector (Mariella Burani Fashion Group, Cesare Paciotti S.p.A., Valentino Fashion Group, Moschillo – Falber S.r.L., Ittierre S.p.A., Pal Zileri Gruppo Forall, Sapaf 1954).

The winers will trea the catwalk, by displaying a collection of about a dozen outfits at the third edition of My Own Show, which present an international competition open to students from all IED campuses.
