This second interpretation illustrates the contemporary landscape of Italian design, ranging from experimental research to mass markets, crafts to advanced technologies, small businesses to globalized corporations.

The museum ‘stages’ Italian design by updating not only its thematic approach but also its exhibit design, done by Antonio Citterio and Partners, covering the 2000 sq meters of the museum, with the sole exception of the Teatro Agorà designed by Italo Rota in 2007.

Italo Rota is convinced that this report should derive a special pleasure, thus making a fundamental value of the design architect Milan is at the heart of the first of a series of exhibitions, and “Spazio FMG” devote the human and social dimension of architecture. Since the eccentric personality of Rota protagonist of this exhibition, curetted by Luca Molinari, who presented the plans for new public spaces and temporary achieved in recent years in Italy, France and India.
