			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p align="justify">MiArt&#8217;s mission is to promote progressive gallery operators involved in the production of exhibitions and catalogs whose activities work in synergy with those of the artists they represent and who complement their business &#8211; the driving force of the art industry &#8211; with extensive activities of a cultural nature.</p>
<p align="justify">Following the public success, gallery participation, and sales figures of MiArt 2007, Milan was focusing on the thirteenth <a href="http://mediarealism.com/wp-admin/MiArt:Art%20Now">MiArt:Art Now</a>, from 4th to 7th of April, 2008.</p>
<p align="justify">This unique event has turned Milan into a prestigious showcase for art and a point of reference for collectors, gallery operators, artists and curators. About 235 exhibitors, more then 35.000 visitors and over 12 thousand square meters of exhibition area .</p>

<p align="justify">This exposition was reasserting its role as the only trade show in Italy able to offer a complete panorama of the art world through its 3 separate sections. Together, Modern, Contemporary, and Anteprima took in Italian and international art from the historic avant-garde to the most recent experimental works, attracting collectors with different interests and backgrounds.</p>
<p align="justify">We could see different artworks (paintings, sculptures, photography video and performing art) from modern classic art to contemporary art and anteprima, between which  there were artworks from  <a href="http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piero_Dorazio">Dorazio</a>, <a href="http://www.ceroli.com/">Ceroli</a>, <a href="http://www.mimmorotella.it/">Rotella,</a> <a href="http://www.basquiat.com/">Basquiat</a>, <a href="http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marc_Chagall">Chagall</a>, <a href="http://www.scuolaromana.it/artisti/balla.htm">Balla</a>,<a href="http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andy_Warhol"> Andy Warhol</a>,  <a href="http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Agora/5156/">Lucio Fontana</a>, <a href="http://www.enzoguaricci.it/home.htm">Enzo Guaricci</a>,  <a href="http://http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enrico_Castellani">Castellani</a>,  <a href="http://www.karasumaru.com/">Yumu Karasumaru</a>, <a href="http://81m80.blogspot.com/2008/03/david-reimondo.html">David Raimondo</a>, <a href="http://www.sergiolombardo.it/">Sergio Lombardo</a>,<a href="http://www.galeriabenot.com/quincocesgal.htm"> Aejandro Quincoces </a>and  many others.</p>
<p align="justify">During the exposition of Miart, the  the prestigious conferences have been included. One of them is &#8220;Cina Intra/Extra Ovest,&#8221; which was the first event to establish a relationship of dialogue and exchange with China.</p>
<p align="justify"> This year, the focus of Miart was on Latin America, a group of countries in perennial transformation in which the exigencies of art are defining a political and cultural identity.</p>
<p>First time under the umbrella title &#8220;<a href="http://mediarealism.com/contemporary-art-is-the-new-art-in-zona-tortona/258/">fuoriMiArt-(con)temporary art</a>&#8221;  an unmissable program that  presented  the most exciting events in the whole city.</p>
<p align="justify">Also, <a href="http://www.teknemedia.net/magazine/dettail.html?mId=4283">The <em>Miraggi</em> project</a> has grown from the desire of the Milan authority for urban design and parks to restore to its citizens a sense of Milan as a city that experiences art as a necessity, a right, a pleasure: A part of the whole.</p>
<p align="justify">For the end, the conclusion could be that Milan and MiArt have won again, that confirm the big  interest of qualified public and  the positive results of sales.</p>

<p align="justify">To please the eyes of the greedy <em>shoesaholic </em>there&#8217;s an ummissable exhibition in <a href="http://www.castellodivigevano.org/">Vigevano (Pavia)</a>.  Set in the old castle, the perfect frame for such beautiful creatures, the exhibition is dedicated to high heels, a passion for girls and a feticism for  some men.  Definitely a weapon of masses distraction since they first appeared, 3500 years ago.</p>

<p align="left">«Il tacco a spillo. Fascino e seduzione» ( High heels, charm and seduction) opened in February and you still have just a few days to visit it, till <strong>March 25th</strong>.</p>
<p>You will find shoes from the early 50s until nowdays. Sorry, you can not try em on but you can surely dream of them, for days and days.</p>
<p>From haute couture ones until retro and eclectic models you will be able to see what a pair of high heels can do, as Marliyn Monroe said: “I don&#8217;t know who invented high heels, but all women owe him a lot”.</p>
<p>So get ready, and don&#8217;t forget your shoes!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p align="left">Images ( Ritratti) by Tania Pistone shows the famous artists, poets and historical persons exposed to<a href="http://www.spiralearte.com/"> Spiralearte Gallery</a> in Milan, deliver to visitors a piece of contemporary art.  Among the many faces are known as Ernest Hemingway, Marco Polo, Camille Claudel, Erasmo From Rotterdam, Herman Hesse, Voltaire painted with acrylic, collage, and text on canvas, to Ulisse, Miguel De Cervantes and many others.<br />
This  Italian artist  forwards the suggestions of who wants to tell stories through color and texture, creating conceptual paintings where abstraction is the final result of a mental. Writing is a sign calligraphic, loses its meaning and remains significant, trace of a thought process of destruction capable of thoughts in a sensory and emotional dimension.<br />
The artist plays with the size and the different forms of her works. The exhibition becomes a portrait where some works have large and medium size, other unusual forms, others are small, some very small.<br />
The exhibition will be open to the public until <strong>March </strong>22 th. <div id="SF_1226139120_Viewer" class="flashmovie">

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p align="left">From <strong>February 12<sup>th </sup></strong>until <strong>March 24<sup>th</sup></strong> at the <a href="http://www.triennale.it/">Milan Triennale</a>, is carried out an exhibition Classico  Manifesto (the advertising and classical tradition) organised in  the collaboration of <a href="http://www.iuav.it/homepage/">IUAV</a> ( University of  Venice ) and  the <a href="http://www.valore-italia.it/IT/">Italian Foundation of value.</a></p>
<p>The theme of the exhibition, is the relationship between advertising and classical works, a link where advertising uses the tools of classical works, to give visibility and aesthetic sense to their products, while the classic benefits in turn from advertising, which create symbols and myths, developing a strong cultural interest for the art. This exhibition shows several examples of current advertising, but also historical update and export the concept of classical mythology and the iconographic images of modern mass communication. Some casts of classical statues, as a David by Michelangelo and Laocoonte, are getting put in comparison with their current versions and various posters, videos and refresher advertising, to confirm the thesis that the classic doesn&#8217;t afraid of rework.<br />

This exhibition helps to understand the difficult mechanisms of advertising, often seen as easy personification of images and concepts in a simple commercial product. In fact, the art of advertising, hides complex mechanisms, which styles, figures and abstractions are transported and reaffirmed in the collective memory to create a target audience incorporating the message as the creative wants to transmit.</p>
<p>The aim of this exhibition is to give a prospective study in which experts and creative people meet each other to observe and give birth to new forms of cultural communication. A unique opportunity to observe closely, as the classical, and creatively reworked ironically, still manages to convey his power and aesthetics over time reassert its signs.</p>

Since the eccentric personality of Rota protagonist of this exhibition, curetted by Luca Molinari, who presented the plans for new public spaces and temporary achieved in recent years in Italy, France and India.</p>

Cities all over the world have been covered by homogeneous grids. I have a feeling that in this century, grids will melt, become distorted and transform like natural topographies. In other words, architecture is becoming closer to natural systems.” </span></em>The Japanese master believes that by uniting surface and structure it is possible to generate organic geometries, to create pleasant, entertaining and lively spaces. <p>Been born in 2004 to the Victoria &amp; Albert Museum of London, the review exposes outfit selects to you from the private collection of the V&amp;. At and from the personal archives of the English designer directly. That Italian represents the most recent stage than a tour that in last the four years she has touched Canberra, Shanghais, Taipei, Tokyo, Düsseldorf, Bangkok and San   Francisco.</p>
<p>From the geometric destructions of the first collections to the <span> </span>challenges of years &#8217;90, the stylish paradigm of Vivienne Westwood reflects one systematic exploration of the history of the custom. This retrospective gives back to the spectator, in all the their original forms, the wealth of ideas that has animated in the years the creations of the designer. And it bewitches for the density and complexity of the references to the artist and literary limbs.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>TheBag is mainly an idea, a lifestyle the art and of production. In concrete terms it takes to shape 4 years ago in a shed space in Bovisa (Milan) from an idea of a group of students of the Academy of Brera, that they tear the space to the city and made it as laboratory and exhibition space. TheBag is mainly the result of a real requirement.</p>
<p>&#8220;Open Source&#8221; has the main goal to analyze the road covered from TheBag in quality of operating organism, and an experiment, and that art extension is realized in synthesis in one.</p>
<p>Articulating the structure of TheBag on the computer science principle of &#8220;Open Source&#8221; a structural code is determined open, potentially modifiable to the infinite through the cyclical collaboration of persons who enter in &#8220;TheBag&#8221; with whom will to share means, experience and art, perfecting some the structure and feeding the creative energy of the factory. We can define TheBag like a container of persons, different witness, various ways to realise, that they enter to make part of this context .</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span>From 17 February till 17 Marth next year, we will see <span> </span>again the most visually dynamic and celebrated stars of video game <span> </span><strong>“ Second Life” </strong></span><span> in Postmasters   Gallery, New York. <span> </span>This</span><span> exhibition, called <strong>“ 13 Most Beautiful Avatars”</strong>, by Eva and</span><span> Franco Mattes  <a href="http://0100101110101101.org/index.html"><span class="subtitle"></span></a></span><a href="http://0100101110101101.org/index.html">0100101110101101.org  </a><span><span class="subtitle">is result of their video game flanerie.</span></span></p>

The 13 Most Beautiful Avatars images will b</span></span><span><span class="subtitle">e exhibited in the real-world. In Second Life</span><em>&#8216;</em><span>s Ars Virtua Gallery, a 3D replica of this physical exhibition space has been recreated for presentation of an exhibition identical to the “real” one, and real presentation was at the Italian Ac</span></span><span><span>ademy in the Columbi</span></span><span><span>a University, New York.</span></span></p>
