From Canada to Japan, from South Africa to Iceland, designers, architects, students, and other creative people have designed installations, communication projects, services, performances, and urban furniture that fit in the space of a urban parking area.

Saturday, April 18th, from 6 p.m., Piazzale Stazione Genova – Opening Party
The opening of the Duepercinque Parade, the public presentation of the projects to transform 2×5-metre urban parking spaces – toasts and dances for every freed parking space -, non-stop music, street performances, appetizers, and guided tours from Piazza XXIV Maggio to the Tortona area. From 12 p.m the party will continue at Gheroartè (Corsico FS Station) with DJ sets, performances and games.
Opening of the Public Design Festival Plaza
April 21st, 9 p.m. – midnight, Piazza XXIV Maggio
From April 21st Piazza 24 Maggio will go back to being a plaza in which people want to rest, meet, and stay… for 5 days this plaza will be a new place in which people will find projects related to the Market Hall, new services for everybody and new ways of experiencing public spaces. On Thursday night a big party will be thrown for the re-discovered plaza: public dinner with Raclette, DJ set, and performance.
April 25th, San Siro Racecourse – Closing Party
A night to be yourself and dance in a different city. DJ sets and live music / indoor and outdoor areas / five stages / games /high-quality street food / art battles with designersblock and monorex.
