The Camera Nazionale della Moda has launched “The Fashion Institute of Milan”, which is the research strategy project for the future of fashion in Milan, the building that will be house of the new training center of excellence dedicated to fashion.
The project is the creation and continuation of the City of Fashion that was born more than 25 years ago by an intuition of Nicola Trussardi. Today the project is finally official. Thanks to the determination of the municipality, Milan will have a “city” of fashion and rise in Garibaldi – Isola – Varesina where the municipality of Milan has begun a work of urban redevelopment that will transform into of international excellence.
The entire project is called Porta Nuova and the master plan still requires, in addition to the creation of a large exhibition’s area that will become the new fashion center for “Fashion week “ and an area with cultural and educational value .
“The Fashion Institute of Milan represents for us an investment on the future of fashion and the Made in Italy – said the minister of productive activities Tiziana Maiolo, concluding that the form and promoting of young fashion talent is an objective key for the municipality of Milan. “
