Seoul dedicates an exhibition to the Milanese designer – Alessandro Mendini: between art, architecture and design.
Until October 31 Gallery Interart in Seoul, Korea, hosts the exhibition “Alessandro Mendini: Redesign and Revival” during the 7th edition of the Biennale Gwangju. The exhibition presents some of Mendini’s historically acclaimed work – such as the Kandissi sofa, the Proust armchair, Byblos casa furniture, as well as his objects for Zanotta, Alessi, Byblos and Zerodisegno.
Architectural models and drawings including the Groningen Museum also facilitate the understanding of Mendini’s innovative work – between art, design and architecture.
